NFA Class IIISuppressors & Short Barrel Rifles
Contrary to popular belief - suppressors are Legal in the state of Ohio! Law abiding residents of Ohio may legally purchase and own a suppressor or short barreled rifle (SBR) provided they qualify for a Special Occupation Tax (SOT) stamp. The SOT stamp costs $200 and takes approximately 6 to 8 months to obtain. Customers may put the class III item in their own name which requires finger prints and the approval of your local Sheriff or in the name of a trust which generally takes legal council to establish. For more information, stop into the Midwest Gun Club and ask for James. |
